My Role Model

A person can be said to be a role model, if the person’s actions, behaviors, characters are capable of inspiring someone. Everyone has their own role model. Different or same, it’s depending on what characters of person you want to take and apply to you. A role model is not always a teacher or a famous person. Not much people make their parents, brother, sister, even friends to be their role model
Just like me, I have my own role model, he is my father. He is the one whom I admire too. In my eyes, Daddy is someone who tough, brave, and discipline. With the background of military, Dad always taught discipline to his daughters, older sister and I. Most of my friends said that Dad looks so scary. Behind that, Daddy is also a warm person who really loves his family. Or we can say that he is a family man and do his job as husband and father as best as he can.
My Dad’s sister, my aunty Yanti told me when Dad was a child, he always working hard in everything. And also said that Daddy is an independent man since he was young, he won’t burden others. That’s why my Dad to be my role model because he is tough, brave, discipline, and independent. Because I believe, we have to be tough get through this live, brave to make the decision, discipline in time, and independent

Hunger in Sudan

Hunger become the biggest global issues.  Level of global hunger being increased for the first time in one decade. In 2016, the number of hungry people in the world over 815 million people including 520 million in Asia, 243 million in Africa, and 42 million in Latin America and The Caribbean. The share of the global population who are hungry about 11,7% in Asia, Africa with 20% (in Eastern Africa 33.9%), and 6.6% in Latin America and The Caribbean.
Hunger has been experienced in many countries with conflict, such as Sudan. The U.N. World Food Program (WFP) estimated that 4.5 million Sudanese face food insecurity due to conflict, In April 2014, the U.N. Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) found that 3.3 million people faced stressed or crisis levels of food insecurity and that IDPs comprised about 80 percent of this food-insecure population.
Civil wars between the southern and northern states have claimed the lives of over 1.5 million people, with especially harsh conditions in regions of Darfur. Darfur, which is about the size of France and contains a population of 6 million, has been undergoing systematic genocide since 2003. More than 2 million people have been driven from their homes, and over 200,000 killed
Climate change affected the intensity of rainfall. Poor rainfall and lack of domestic water supplies are other hindrances for crop cultivation. To avoid these conditions, people have fled from Sudan to the Nile river. As the region dominate with desert and caused drought, it is hard to farming.  Darfur, in particular, was one of the most drought-affected regions. Only tangled vines can be grown such two varieties of cucumber and some of the fruits of their newfound.
Sudan is endowed with plenty of cultivable lands estimated at 86 million ha. However, less than 20% are utilized at present under the three major farming sub-sectors: the irrigated, the semi-mechanized rainfed and the agro-pastoral traditional rainfed. The agricultural sector has an important role to play in achieving food security by increasing food production and providing employment opportunities in rural areas.
Poverty strikes the hardest in rural Sudan areas where 46.5% of the total population live in poor conditions, approximately 20 million people. These individuals earn approximately less than US$1 a day. Some communities in Sudan worked as farmers and animal raising. Hard climate conditions and lack of natural resources contribute to poverty in Sudan.
Solving hunger means solving poverty that’s why need a role of United Nation and Food and Agricultural Organization to finish this issue. Besides the Sudanese government have to resolve the conflict and deliver education to its society.

Self Description

I'm gonna tell you about myself. Not telling about the history of my birth, education, nor my parents. This is about my vision of life. Actually, I’m not sure, because I’m not good at writing moreover using English.
I’m kind of introvert. How can I say that whereas nobody could appraise themselves?. I knew it from some article and of course what I feel about. One of them, it is hard for me to get close with others, especially with new people. That’s why not often people say that I am a shy person.
“Disappointment is just God’s way of saying "I’ve got something better’ Be Patient, Life Live, have faith”. The quotes that mean deeply for me when I got rejected by a national university that I dream of. I was sad and disappointed with myself at that time. In the end, I accepted to be a university student in information system majors, faculty of computer science and technology information in Gunadarma University. I believe that Allah already has a good plan, the best plan for me.
My dad taught me that if you want to do something, you have to reflect it to yourself. It means that if you don’t want to be treated badly by others, then do not treat others badly as well. If you want to be treated well then treat others well too. It sounds like the aphorism “what you planted, that is what you reaped”. Therefore, I try to reflect on myself every single thing before I do.
